Benzaldehyde is the core basic raw material in the toluene oxidation industrial chain of Wuhan Baiyite Chemical Co., Ltd., with its core applications covering ‌flavor and fragrance formulation‌, ‌pharmaceutical and pesticide synthetic intermediates‌, and ‌organic chemical raw materials‌. The pure product is a colorless transparent liquid with a typical bitter almond odor. It is slightly soluble in water, and miscible with organic solvents such as ethanol and ether. With unstable chemical properties, it will be gradually oxidized to benzoic acid in the air, and can be reduced to generate benzyl alcohol. It can volatilize together with steam, serving as a key intermediate that links the preceding and following processes in the toluene oxidation industrial chain.

Flavor Synthesis

It is the core raw material for formulating fragrances of almond, cherry and other aroma types, and is widely used in food and daily chemical fragrance products.

Chemical Synthesis

It can be used to prepare a variety of fine chemical products such as lauryl aldehyde, phenylacetaldehyde and benzyl benzoate, and also acts as an excellent solvent for oil, resin and cellulose materials.

Pharmaceutical and Agricultural Chemicals
