    Phthalic Anhydride (PA, CAS No. 85-44-9, C8H4O3) is one of the core products in the toluene oxidation series of Wuhan Biet Co., Ltd. As a key organic chemical raw material and epoxy resin curing agent, it is widely applied across plasticizer manufacturing, resin synthesis, fine chemicals and full industrial manufacturing scenarios.     Plasticizer and Resin Manufacturing Sector

    As the largest domestic consumption scenario for phthalic anhydride, accounting for over 60% of total consumption, it serves as the core raw material for producing phthalate plasticizers. It is also widely used in the synthesis of alkyd resins and unsaturated polyester resins. The produced resin products feature excellent weather resistance and stable mechanical properties, which fully meet the production demands of downstream industries such as building materials, home furnishings and packaging materials.

    Epoxy Resin Curing Sector

    As one of the earliest industrially applied acid anhydride curing agents, it features low exotherm during curing, long pot life and low operation threshold. The cured products can reach a heat distortion temperature above 100℃, with outstanding acid resistance and anti-aging performance. It is especially suitable for the production of large-scale casting parts and laminates, with a conventional addition amount of 30% to 50% of the mass of epoxy resin, making it a classic curing solution in the fields of wind power, composite materials and high-end equipment manufacturing.

    Dye, Pesticide and Pharmaceutical Synthesis Sector

    It is the core synthetic raw material for anthraquinone dyes, some pesticides and pharmaceutical intermediates. It participates in multi-step reactions as an acylating reagent in organic synthesis, producing dye finished products with stable color performance and uniform coloring. The related pesticide and pharmaceutical intermediates boast high reaction conversion rates, with quality meeting the strict control standards of the fine chemical industry.

    Other Industrial Scenarios

    It can be used as a general anti-scorching agent in rubber processing, effectively preventing premature vulcanization of rubber materials and improving operation safety. As a functional additive in coating, printing and dyeing systems, it optimizes the stability of pastes, prevents mildew in the system, and guarantees the final quality of finished products.

We annually produce 50,000 tons of benzoic acid, 4,000 tons of benzyl benzoate, 10,000 tons of benzoic acid polyol esters, and 20,000 tons of sodium benzoate (including sodium benzoate powder  10,000 tons/year,  sodium benzoate ball 5,000 tons/year,  sodium benzoate column 5000 tons/year), 5000 tons of benzyl alcohol.
